This policy explains what happens to information when you use TakehomeKit. The short version: the tools run in your browser and we don't collect what you type into them.

Information you enter into tools

Amounts, invoice details, client names, gig text and images you use in our tools are processed on your device. They are not sent to our servers. Some tools save your last entries in your browser's local storage so you can return to them; you can clear this at any time from your browser settings or with each tool's reset button.

Third-party services

• Exchange rates. Currency tools request public exchange rates from open.er-api.com. This request contains no information you entered.
• PDF library. When you download an invoice PDF, a library is loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. The PDF itself is created on your device.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which tools they use. It sets cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. It does not receive anything you type into our tools. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Hosting. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.

Advertising and cookies

We may show ads from Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Where required by law, we'll ask for your consent before ad cookies are set.

Affiliate links

Some links to payment or software services may be affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes the numbers our tools show.

Children

TakehomeKit is intended for adults running a freelance business and is not directed at children under 13.
